Genesis 12:1–3
The Lord had said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you. “I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.”

- Where do you see God's rule in the story? What part of the story shows God's power or authority?
- Does this story show how sin ruins or separates? What part of the story shows the consequences of sin?
- Does any part of the story give us a hint of our need for a rescuer? Does the story anticipate or point toward Jesus in any way?
- Did you notice a part of the story where God's gift of grace changed someone? Where in the story did you notice the Holy Spirit at work for the characters to display the fruit of the Spirit or live lives of worship?
